As technology continues to rapidly advance, the need for skilled professionals in the fields of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Cybersecurity and Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality (VR/AR) is on the rise. Mohamedhussein Punjani Charitable Foundation of UK/Canada (MPF) in collaboration with JR Institute of Information Technology (JRIIT) owned by Global Charitable Integrated Community Services (GICCS) plans to establish training centers across Africa, focused on providing high-quality training programs in these cutting-edge fields to diploma graduates and Government teachers at colleges and Universities. It will also participate in designing curriculums, train, and periodically support its development.
Partners: To efficiently run such cutting-edge technologies, experienced individuals, companies, and educators involved with research and developments are necessary to keep update with the field and evolve continuously. The program has identified three partners such as:
1. CompTIA Authorized partner, the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) is a leading voice and advocate for the $5 trillion global information technology ecosystem; and the estimated 75 million industry and tech professionals who design, implement, manage, and safeguard the technology that powers the world’s economy.
2. Palo Alto Cybersecurity Academy in the field Cybersecurity. Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Academy exists to equip students with the next-generation cybersecurity knowledge and skills they’ll need to succeed
3. Westford Education Group – UK – Airtics Education offering top IT certification programs in collaboration with international Universities such as UCAM (Spain), Acacia (USA) etc..
The soft launch of our center on 19th June 2023, graced by the presence of guest of honor Director General of ICT commissioner, Dr. Nkude Moses Mwasanga, following the momentous launch, a new era unfolded as we embarked on a journey of excellence, with the commencement of our highly anticipated post.
We are proud to announce the launch of our Second Training Center at AFED Tower, Mezzanine floor, Dar-es-Salaam, on 25th June 2024 where are specializing in Cybersecurity training. The event was graced by distinguished guests Hon. Joshua Mwangasa (Assistant Commissioner of Police, Cybersecurity) ,Mr. Gulam Punjani (Trustee, PCT-TZ),Mr. Rustam Merani (Prominent Businessman) andMr. Mir Pirbhai (Board Member, PCT-TZ & Director, JR Institute of IT)
Our center had the privilege of welcoming Deputy speaker of the parliament of Tanzania and MP of Ilala Hon . Mussa Azzan Zungu. On a visit we engaged in a productive discussion about our mission and vision of Punjani Charitable Trust (Tanzania) to promote free IT Upskills training among the youth and teachers of Tanzania.
The center conduct training in the field of Artificial Intelligence & Machine learning, Data science, Computer vision, Business intelligence, Cybersecurity, Digital media and animation and Digital literacy.
Digital Literacy sessions are currently underway where learners are provided with fundamental computer knowledge, fostering their potential in the professional arena and preparing them for future opportunities. We have provided 300+ candidates with Digital Literacy Course conducted at Raha and Afed Center.
Digital Media sessions are still going, where as the learner’s are introduced to the captivating world of design, where creativity knows no bounds. 100+ candidates have been trained so far.
Cyber security practical sessions are crucial for hand-on lerning & skills development in the field of cyber security .These sessions provide participants with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios ,understand the challenges in security systems and practice various cybersecurity techniques and tools.
